24 - 25 October 2009, at the Working Dog Education Centre, Welshpool Vic - Also known as Beloka Kelpie Stud, or simply MacPhail's Place. This was my second time attending the trials there, and the weather was much more cooperative this time around. I hope to have the images from the 2007 trials up soon (I was forced to miss the 2008 trials due to circumstances not worth going into).

This event will stay in my mind as some of the best fun, with some of the best people I have ever known, and having a dozen rousties around the bonfire sing me a drunken rendition of happy birthday on the Saturday evening stands out among a great lot of happy memories spent down under. It wasn't the Bundy or being caught off-guard that kept me from saying more when I was dragged kicking and screaming to the microphone - I was a little choked up too. Thanks for that, Fran.
